DJ Adam Plays Mickey Martins Fri Nov 23.
Jetting into Town this
month for a cultural one night stand is one of Londons hippest
creatives Adam j Whittiker. A graphic designer by trade he has extended
his job to include the running of his own record label ‘Unusual and
Electric’,which allows him to release what ever rhythm he feels like!
His determined passion for seeking leftfield sounds has led him to
operate as a music consultant for TV and Radio ads and as a mixtape
scientist for the London all night party crowd. These Tapes have made
their way to Limerick over the last few years and with their clever
blending of everything from Country music to Techno, have created a
dedicated following for this ‘what is he going to do next’ Englishman.
There
are 3 record releases so far on The Unusual and Electric Label and
these extensions of the Mash ups found on his mixes have become staples
for Limerick djs down with the Reggae, Hiphop, and Techno fusion. Adam
will also be giving a talk in the Graphic Design Department of the
Limerick school of Art the same afternoon, So if the name Nathan Barley
from a TV show a couple of years ago means anything to you don’t miss
this Cheebah night in Mickey Martins on the 23th
