BRASILINTIME TOUR with Madlib, J Rocc, B+, Ivan "Mamao" Conti, Joao "Comanche" Parahyba, Dj Nuts and Coleman hits Limerick Sunday May 4th . The venue is according to our sources going to be Trinity Rooms. The only other cities in this short European tour are Amsterdam, Dublin and Rome so truly brilliant news for the city. What a month it is shaping up to be with Daedelus in town for a free gig three weeks earlier and Jazzy Jeff also touching down in between. More news later, check back here and keep an ear to the block with pc.

*Dublin show on the 2nd
**Tony Allen (!) is on the bill
***Limerick show is priced at only 15 euros.
maaaan! that looks fantastic!
saw madlib with j rocc and dilla a few years ago at triptych when they were doing their Jaylib wheeze. brilliant, although it was a bit of a pain to have Madlib going "we ain't MCs we're DJ's" during his MC bit and neither him nor Dilla even touched a deck all evening.
still though j rocc more than made up for it.

will this be music all night or are they going to be showing films and telling us about the history of beats and stop/starting all night?
(Was at Shadow/C.Chem in Dublin, just wondering will it be similar thing?)

Hi Folks,
show is 100% on we were just waiting on tony allen to be 100%. The show will be across all 3 rooms of the club with main stage live and dj sets in the courtyard. Tickets are priced at a Limerick Friendly €15 so please support!
This show is history in the making, cross-generational and multi-cultural. This show will rely on the backbone of Afrobeat legend Tony Allen, Fela Kuti's drummer, recent collaborator with Damon Alburn on 'The Good, The Bad & The Queen' and in essence one of the most important musicians of the last 40 years as per Brian Eno. Cited as creating the genre Afrobeat, Tony Allen is no ordinary musician. Add two of Brasil's finest musicians Ivan Conti (Mamao) 1/3 of Azymuth, the collosal force in Brasilian and World music who sold 100s of thousands of records worldwide and Joao Parahyba renowned percussionist with samba rock band Trio Mocoto and backing band for Jorge Ben. Sprinkle this with...Producer, MC, instrumentalist extraordinnaire...MADLIB... The BeatKonducta aka Quasimoto aka Yesterday's New Quintet aka Jackson Conti and producer of the new Erykah Badu LP. Add your favourite deejay saviour JROCC...the founder of The Beat junkies, arguably the best club deejay in the world and place him alongside South America's finest turntablist DJ Nuts and this event becomes devastating. The Brasilintime DVD has just been released officially worldwide and is selling by the thousands. We are proud to also have B+ and Eric Coleman the creators of this mammoth project in the house for the shows.

Sounds great. It'll be a great weekend for music with Limerick-Spanish outfit Blancatransfer playing Dolans on the Saturday night. Not to be missed!
