- Norman Jay is just one of many attractions playing the end of summer carnival in Limerick next weekend. Jay will be playing two different sets a house set in trinity rooms on the Friday and a carnival set in Mickey Martins on the Saturday. Lots more going on check the poster.

- Influential irish Music bloggers rate Lisa Hannigan highly and she returns to Limerick for a second visit in 2008 next Wednesday in UL. Full details here.
- Limerick writer Kevin Barrys book 'there are little kingdoms' was featured here before. An adaption of the book for the stage gets its premier in Cork this week as part of the inaugral Blood and Bandages Festival.
Fair play to Paul, thats one of the most succint and interesting reads in a long long time. Brilliant stuff.

Thanks everybody for the feedback. Any info however minute is much appriciated and ill contact anybody via my email.. (some great stories all ready from the sticks!). I am compiling a chapter stategy at the moment and have no idea of a timescale for the project as a whole. I Just read Darragh o Hallorans book 'The Green Beat' which made me realise how much needs to be organised in my own project!
