Interesting documentary on Al Jazeera about Irish piano tuner Ciaran Ryan who has helped to restore pianos in Cuba falling into disrepair because of the trade embargo. There is a local connection here as well with Limerick based artists and broadcasters working on the Una Corda project. Other tourists can also help by bringing piano parts with them. hey Cheebah and all that......hope life is good in Limerick.....just wanted to let you know that I am planning on doing my weekly WFMU radio show as a live remote from Ireland in a couple of weeks. The plan is that on Friday December 19th from 8PM to 11PM (that is 3-6PM NYC time when the show airs live back in the States) - that I will do a live remote broadcast in the premises of All City Records in Dublin with the goal being to showcase as much great Irish hip-hop talent as possible......peace: [email protected]
